Contract Packing

Westex offer clients the facility of a Clean Room at our London site. The room is designed as an operational facility within our warehouse. This is to isolate the users from activities in the main warehouse area, thus ensuring it’s complete cleanliness.

The Clean Room offers a dust free environment for contract packing and product manipulation. Contract packing is important to many companies for re-packing, giftpack assembly, trials, promotional packing, seasonal products, new products or new market launches.

Testers

The Clean Room is especially useful for the handling and packing of Testers, as the cleanliness of the room ensures that the product stays in the best possible condition. The product is not damaged in any way.

Westex can also offer both Full Traceability of an Order Trail, and a Full Audit Trail for product recall purposes.

We are one of a very few companies who are fully approved to store and handle Testers by one of the UK’s Top 10 Plc Companies.

Wholesale Dealer’s License

Does your product require storing and distribution in a controlled regulatory warehouse environment ? Then Westex can help you as we are approved as a Wholesale Dealer. A medicinal product may be placed on the market in the United Kingdom only in accordance with a marketing authorisation. Wholesale dealers may only distribute such products.

Our Bromley By Bow site in East London is approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) – An executive agency of the Department of Health in 2007.

Approved to handle, store and pick/pack general sales list, traditional herbal medicinal products, non – sterile liquids (including solutions, syrups and suspensions), solid non – sterile dosage forms (including tablets, capsules, suppositories and powders). Administration to human beings.

Our authorisation allows distribution by way of wholesale dealing within the EEA of medicinal products.
